Melissa is a USDF Certified Instructor Through 4th Level. She is a USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold Medalist.
Melissa has trained with some of the most successful Dressage Instructors in the world. She has trained with 2007 Pan Am Double Gold Medalist Christopher Hickey since 2000. She has ridden with Conrad Schumacher, Lilo Fore, Isabell Werth, Ulla Salzgeber, Steffen Peters and Henk Van Bergen.
Melissa has received numerous Regional and National awards including Horse of the Year awards and Regional Championships.
She has guided many students to achieve USDF Medals and Horse of the Year standings as well as countless Regional awards.
Melissa has students ranging from Training Level to Grand Prix. She teaches clinics around the country and has been invited to be a demo rider for many USDF Symposiums and Training Seminars.
She married William Allen in 2005. They have two horses and three dogs on their acreage near Holden, Mo. William team ropes and competes in Bass fishing Tournaments when he is not working his full time job.
